Fall Rhythms

As cooler days roll in, after a long, hot and active summer, it feels good to slow down and return to comforting fall rhythms.

We finally finished all the renovations in our home and this is one of my favorite little nooks. It’s east facing and it’s the perfect sundrenched spot for that first cup of coffee in the morning.

I really wanted a space where we could cozy up with a warm throw, light a candle, and get lost in a good book. Creating special spaces in our home to relax, unwind and enjoy the seasons, is an important ritual, especially after a day of hard work! It nourishes the soul and I feel that these are some of the things that truly make a house a home…

A fall scented candle, cozy throws and comfy pillows are great additions to make a sitting area feel welcoming. I like to have a side table nearby to stack up my favorite books and magazines; it’s also very practical to set down your favorite pumpkin spice latté!
